Sharing Joy Through Music: Nova Students Perform at Amica Nursing Home

On Saturday, November 29th, sixteen of our talented Nova Music School students had the wonderful opportunity to visit Amica Nursing Home and share the gift of music with its residents. What unfolded was an afternoon filled with warmth, connection, and the true spirit of community.

From delicate classical melodies to festive Christmas favorites, our students poured their hearts into every performance. The residents listened with glowing smiles, tapping their fingers, humming along, and in many cases, simply closing their eyes to soak in the beauty of the music. It was a reminder of how deeply music can touch the soul no matter the age.
At Nova Music School, we believe music is more than lessons and practice it’s a way to spread joy, comfort, and belonging. Watching our students use their talents to brighten someone’s day reaffirmed exactly why we do what we do. Their confidence grew, their passion shone, and they experienced firsthand how powerful music can be when shared.
Our visit to Amica Nursing Home wasn’t just a performance; it was a moment of connection between generations, a simple act of kindness that made a meaningful impact. And judging by the residents’ warm reactions, our students’ music truly brought happiness to their hearts.

We’re incredibly proud of every student who participated and grateful to the wonderful community at Amica for welcoming us with open arms. This is just the beginning Nova Music School is committed to using music to uplift our community, one song at a time.
