Candice Saffrey

Piano, Voice, Beginner Guitar, Drums, Alto Sax, Theory, History

Candice holds a B.F.A spec. hons in Music from York University. She has been playing the piano for over 30 years and has gained additional experience on drums, guitar, alto sax, djembe, steel pan, and voice. Among Candice’s playing experience, she has been teaching for over 20 years. Candice has worked as a private piano and vocal instructor at Long and McQuade and In Key Music Studio. She has also worked with bands and ensembles and currently serves as the Worship Pastor at The Family Life Centre. Candice works with advanced music students to shape their pedagogy skills by mentoring and training them to teach and work with students of their own and form their own businesses for the future. Currently, Candice is pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counselling with hopes to couple a therapeutic approach to music education as well as expand to offer additional services.

Tameisha Perry

Piano

Tameisha has been playing the piano for 22 years and has been teaching piano for the past 9 years. She has attained level 9 piano and advanced theory in the RCM. As a former pianist in the Mayfield Regional Arts Program, she brings a rich background in performance and musical education. Tameisha enjoys teaching piano and making piano lessons a fun and engaging experience. Her ultimate goal is to help all students become confident in their musical abilities.

Victor Malbarosa

Guitar

Victor has a joy for playing and teaching music as he comes from a background of being both trained and self-taught. He has been honing his guitar skills since the age of 11. Victor has experience teaching guitar theory at Harmony at Home Music and is currently playing a significant role in his church’s worship team as a lead guitarist and vocalist. Victor is excited to inspire a love and passion for music by exploring not only the technical side of music, but fostering a love for the classics and modern music.  Aside from his passion for music, he is a youth worker at Hope City Church and is happily married to his wife, Tomi.

Alexia Olsen

Violin & Piano

From a young age, Alexia has been immersed in music, whether it was listening to her older sisters practice, performing in the Rosebud Orchestra, or dedicating countless hours to her own practice. With over a decade of experience on both piano and violin, she has achieved her Level 9 RCM certification in piano and is currently pursuing her Level 8 RCM certification in violin. Recently, Alexia has also begun learning the clarinet and is eager to broaden her musical skills. Passionate about sharing her love of music, Alexia is committed to helping aspiring musicians achieve their goals and discover the joy of music.

Anna Baljit

Piano & Ukulele

Anna discovered her passion for music at age five and has played piano for eight years and ukulele for six. She has won first and second-place trophies in multiple CML competitions and has performed at recitals, school events, and special occasions. With experience tutoring Math and French, leading school clubs, and mentoring students in the SDG Change Challenge, Anna is committed to making music lessons fun and supportive. She strives to help each student gain confidence and develop a lasting love for piano and ukulele.

Resa Gildharry

Guitar

Resa is a multi-instrumentalist who has experience in bass guitar, acoustic and electric guitar, and the clarinet. She plays in several bands and enjoys playing various genres such as rock, indie, musical theatre, classical, and contemporary worship. Resa is thrilled to share her passion for music with others and teach them all she knows!

Lyndon Maynard

Voice

Lyndon is a seasoned vocalist with experience gained over the last 16. With 6 years of teaching experience, he has worked with students of all ages across Canada, the United States and the Caribbean, helping them discover their voice and grow in confidence. His teaching style combines solid technique with genuine enthusiasm. He is passionate about unlocking the unique potential in your voice, whether you’re just beginning your vocal journey or looking to take your singing to the next level. Lyndon is dedicated to fostering a supportive and encouraging space where students can develop skill, artistry, and a lifelong love for music.

Angela Omana

Piano

Angela discovered her deep passion for music at a very young age, growing up in a family of musicians that nurtured her natural talent. Gifted with the ability to learn by ear, she began teaching herself piano at the age of six. Over the years, her self-directed learning expanded to include acoustic and electric guitar by age ten, ukulele by age eleven, and bass guitar at fourteen. Her dedication and love for music led her to become the lead pianist and now the Music Director at No Other Than Jesus Christ Church, where she continues to share her gifts with fellow church members and inspire the next generation of musicians. Angela also serves as a Youth Ministry Leader, bringing years of experience working with pre-teens, teenagers, and young adults in both musical and spiritual mentorship. A passionate composer since 2018, Angela has recently begun releasing her original music on streaming platforms. She is currently studying Psychology at the University of Toronto and aims to integrate her academic knowledge with her musical teaching. Angela modifes each lesson to suit the individual needs of her students, striving to create a welcoming, encouraging environment that boosts confidence and fosters success.
