Celebrating Excellence: Nova Student Ethan Performs at Final Friday Vibes’ 1-Year Anniversary

At Nova Music School, we believe music is about more than what happens during a lesson. It’s about building confidence, developing your gifts, and having opportunities to share them with the community.

We were proud to see Nova student Ethan take the stage at Knights Table’s Final Friday Vibes 1-Year Anniversary celebration, an event dedicated to celebrating excellence in Black youth.

A Night of Culture, Connection & Community

Final Friday Vibes brings young people and the community together through culture, connection, creativity, and celebration. Its first anniversary marked an exciting milestone for Knights Table and created a space to recognize the talent, potential, and accomplishments of Black youth.

The evening was filled with celebration, community, and opportunities for young people to be seen, heard, and encouraged.

Ethan Takes the Stage 🎤

One of the highlights for the Nova community was seeing our student Ethan perform live.

Standing in front of an audience and sharing your talent takes courage, preparation, and confidence. Ethan had the opportunity to put his musical development into action and experience what it means to connect with an audience through performance.

Moments like these are an important part of a young musician’s journey. Every lesson, practice session, and performance contributes to developing not only musical ability, but also confidence and stage presence.

We want our students to have opportunities to take what they are learning beyond the lesson room—whether that means performing at a recital, participating in a community event, collaborating with other musicians, or stepping onto a stage for the first time.

We’re grateful to Knights Table and Final Friday Vibes for creating a space that celebrates young people and gives emerging talent an opportunity to shine.
